I was introduced to Shona Murphy at Made by Murphy designs early this year to discuss designing a commission pattern.
Shona creates bespoke vintage furniture pieces and her work is absolutely stunning, I was really excited to get in touch and see what we could create together.
The original brief was for a pattern for her Lotus collection. Rich oranges and red with an oriental vibe, featuring flying cranes and cherry blossom. We then worked on a range of colour options using the same pattern.
Teaming up with Angela from Presimans design, who worked tirelessly printing colour swatches and samples on a range of fabrics, we are finally ready to launch.
Shona will be selling these designs through her website, on the link below. The fabric comes in 4 colour variations, Gold, Green, Mauve and Midnights and the pattern is available in 3 scale options to allow flexibility for a variety on interior projects.
