My Story

I am a trained designer and illustrator based in London.

Inspired by a love of wildlife and nature, taking inspiration from vintage natural history prints and illustrations.

I love exploring the beautiful shapes and patterns that can be found in the natural world, from the smallest insect to the brilliant flash of a kingfisher..

I start each artwork as hand drawn in pen and ink, working on the line weights and variations. I then add colour and texture, using water-based inks, building up layer by layer for a vibrant, rich result.

As part of the creative journey, I like to create a range of textile-based patterns using the original illustrations. Playing with colour and composition to create intricate patterns, with a hint of Victorian glamour and Art Nouveau style. I then take these designs onto items such as cushions, scarves, and pouches, producing unique, handmade gifts.
